                                              Green Cleaning Products

These formulas were initially received from www.care2.com and have been modified slightly to meet personal taste. You will be amazed at the savings to your pocket book and will have eliminated another major source of chemicals in your home or business. 

Creamy Soft Scrub
Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda into a bowl, and add enough liquid detergent to make a texture the consistency of frosting. It is best to just make what you need for the current cleaning project. This works great, has no odor and rinses easily.

All Purpose Spray Cleaner
1/2 teaspoon washig soda
A couple of drops of liquid soap
2 cups hot tap or distilled water
Combine the ingredients in a spray bottle and shake until the washing soda is dissolved. Wipe off with a spong or rag.

Furniture Polish
1/2 teaspoon olive or jojba oi l
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
Mix ingredients in a glass jar. Dab a soft rag into the solution and wipe onto the wood.

Mold Killer
2 teaspoons tea tree oil
2 cu7ps water
Combine in a spray bottle, shake until blended and then spray on problem areas. Do not rinse. If the tea tree odor is an issue for you, add a drop or two of lavendar oil.

Window Cleaner
1/2 teaspoon liquid detergent
3 tablespoons vinegear
2 cups water
2 drops lavendar, lemon or orange oil (optional)
Put all the ingredients into a spray bottle, shake it until completely mixed and spray. If you do not like the smellof vinegear, add lavendar, lemon or orange to your mixture.
 

Oven Polish
1 cup baking soda
Water
2 squirts liquid soap
Sprinkly water generously over the bottom of the oven, then cover the grime with enough baking soda that the surface is entirely white. Sprinkly some more water over the top. Let the mixture set overnight. Wipe up the grease the next morning. After the majority has been removed, dab a bit of lquid deternet on a sponge and wash the remaining residue from the oven.
